Tura, Jan 6,2025: The 13th edition of Talent Hunt Tura, was held on December 19-21, 2024, at District Auditorium, Tura marked a magnificent celebration of the vibrant talent and creativity thriving in Garo Hills. The event was Organised by the Garo Hills Talent Development Society (GHTDS) as a premier platform to discover, nurture and elevate hidden talents of across Garo Hills, providing a stage performers and creators to shine Judges and Auditions.
During the auditions, the panel featured newly appointed judges from the Talent Hunt Tura. These emerging judges, nurtured through the program itself, to represent the next generation of talent evaluators. No participants were eliminated on the first day, allowing everyone a second chance to perform. For the grand finale, the committee brought in senior, experienced judges to ensure fairness and uphold the event’s high standards.
This year, local YouTubers were celebrated with special recognition is given to creators surpassing 100K subscribers. This initiative sets the stage for future awards recognizing the Top 10 Popular Talents in categories such as singing, acting, filmmaking and News Content Creators. The Commitment to Postive Creativity the committee, comprising 130+ representatives from across Garo Hills, focused on fostering inspiring and constructive content. Measures, including FIR filings, were pledged against individuals creating or promoting harmful digital content
STRICT WARNINGS TO INAPPROPRIATE VIDEO CREATORS. The committee issued a firm stance against harmful or culturally disrespectful content. The Talent Key Points of the Warning, Zero Tolerance Policy. Offensive or vulgar content creators face strict consequences, including revocation of awards and fetime bans. The Monitoring and Reporting, a dedicated team will monitor digital platforms for violations and take legal action when necessary. Ethical Accountability for Awardees, Honorees must uphold cultural and ethical standards with violators losing
recognition and future participation rights Positive Encouragement. Creators are urged to align their talents with the event’s mission of promoting culture and unity.
The committee addressed viral criticism of awardees, emphasizing. “The committee holds the sole responsibility to address inappropriate conduct by awardees. We urge critics to support our mission to celebrate and promote Garo Hils Talent” said GHTDS.
