Williamnagar, August 2, 2026: The Meghalaya Boxing Association (MBA) has announced that a Boxing Competition will be held in Williamnagar, East Garo Hills, from August 5 to August 7.

Therefore, interested District Boxing Associations (DBA) and Boxer Clubs (BC) are informed that they can participate in the two provided categories: State Elite Men and Women.

However, participants in this boxing competition must bring or submit a Fitness Certificate issued by a private or government doctor at the time of weighing in or during the competition.

The MBA has informed that all participants in this competition must mandatorily submit a Fitness Certificate.

Furthermore, MBA President Cornelius Kharhunai stated that those who fail to provide a Fitness Certificate will not be accepted into the competition and will not be allowed to participate.
