Ampati, May 23, 2026: The office of the Block Development Officer, Rerapara C&RD Block, under the State Rural Employment Society Block Implementing Division (SRES-BID), Community & Rural Development Department, Government of Meghalaya, will conduct an IEC Campaign and Beneficiary Saturation Programme under the nationwide initiative “Jan Bhagidaari-Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle” from May 25 to May 29, 2026, across various DA-JGUA villages under Rerapara Block.

The campaign aims to create awareness among tribal communities regarding various government welfare schemes and ensure greater outreach and beneficiary saturation in remote villages.

The programme will witness the participation of different line departments to facilitate dissemination of information and delivery of services related to health, education, agriculture, horticulture, rural development, power, fisheries, veterinary services, employment, public distribution system and other welfare initiatives.
As per the schedule, awareness camps will be organised in different clusters of villages at designated venues under Rerapara C&RD Block.

On May 25, Batch-I covering Boiragipara, Gandhipara, Balapara and Tangabari villages will be held at Boiragipara LP School from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Batch-II for Dumnigoan, Sonamite, Rangsakona, Jaluagre and Chigitchakgre villages will be conducted at Rangsakona Community Hall during the same hours.

On May 26, Batch-I covering Bongpara, Wakantagre, Adugre, Jamanggre and Sankarigre villages will be held at Bongpara Community Hall, while Batch-II for Nogapara, Balnangre, Ganglangre and Madhupara villages will be organised at Nogapara LP School.

Further, on May 28, awareness programmes will be conducted at Dengnakpara LP School for Dengnakpara, Grenggandi, Rongchadenggre and Dombagre villages, and at Lower Damalgre LP School for Lower Damalgre and Chimisengre villages.
The final batch will be held on May 29 at Nokatgre LP School for the villages of Baghmara, Nokatgre and Dorambokgre.

The Block Development Officer, Rerapara C&RD Block, has requested all concerned line departments to actively participate and extend support for the successful conduct of the programme.

The campaign is being organised under the aegis of the State Rural Employment Society (SRES) to strengthen grassroots awareness, promote inclusive participation, and ensure that welfare schemes reach the most remote and underserved communities.
