Tura, September 2, 2024:15 days Advanced Training Course on Handloom & Handicraft and Bakery & Confectionary organized at College of Community Science, Sangsanggre, Tura from 19th August, 2024 concluded on 2nd September, 2024. The Valedictory function was graced by the General Manager, District Commerce and Industries Centre (DCIC), West Garo Hills Tura Don Felicient R Marak. Dean, College of Community Science, Dr. Jyoti Vastrad, Faculty Members and Officers of DCIC, Tura and trainees attended the valedictory function.
The trainees of both the trades shared their hands-on experiences including the knowledge and technical skills acquired during the training program and expressed their gratitude to the trainers as well as the sponsors of the training program. They also mentioned that the skills acquired would help them to improve the quality of their products as well as to upscale their business in future.
Earlier during the function the Chief Guest, along with other dignitaries lit the ceremonial lamp.
