Tura, Sept 01, 2024: As part of the celebration of National Sports Day 2024, 10 K Run was organized for both Men and Women above 15 years and for Boys and Girls under 15 years starting from Matchakolgre L P School Field, New Tura on 31st August, 2024. The program was organized by the District Sports Office, West Garo Hills, Tura.

The Winners for under 15 Boys were John Omega Ch Sangma, Chayastone Ch Marak and Elyan Earnest S Sangma being the First, Second and Third respectively.

Meanwhile, Akangesa A Sangma, Sneha D Sangma and Chukambe G Momin bagged the First, Second, third respectively for under 15 Girls category.

Malasing M Marak of 49 years was adjudged the Oldest runner and Adielo R Marak of 6 years was the youngest participant.

District Sports Officer, Tura Saljagring M Marak and others were present during the program.
