Williamnagar, Mar 21,2025: Minister for Soil and Water Conservation, PHE, Housing, etc. Marcuise N Marak launched the Watershed Yatra at Koksi Songma village under Sonsak C&RD Block in the presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Albert G Momin and other dignitaries on 21 March, 2025.

Launching the Yatra, Marak highlighted at length the importance of watershed yatra and given assurance to look into the problems of JJM implementation in the area.

The former MLA of Songsak and the Chairman of Program Implementation, Nhim D Shira, while speaking on the occasion, said that the present Govt. is dedicated to bring development to every nook and corner of the state. He also appreciated the initiatives being taken by the Divisional Officer of Soil and Water Conservation, Williamnagar Division, Corbeth Homa D Sangma.
