Tura, March 16, 2026: In view of the ongoing internet shutdown and the difficulties being faced by the public due to limited cash availability, the State Bank of India (SBI), Garo Hills Branch, has informed that efforts are underway to ensure adequate cash supply in all its ATMs across the region.
According to information received from the bank, cash loading operations are currently being carried out in all SBI ATMs, and the bank expects that most machines will become fully operational within the next half an hour.
At present, the following SBI ATMs are already functioning and dispensing cash: Tura Main Branch, New Tura, Chandmari, Thakurbari, DC Office, Tentenkol, Rongkhong, Super Market Tura, 128 Bn CRPF, BSF Dhanagre, Hallydaygunj, Tikrikilla, Rongram, Jengjal, New Bhaitbari, Dobasipara, Borkona, Mahendraganj, Selsella and Phulbari.
SBI officials have further informed that cash loading in the remaining ATMs is currently in progress and the machines will be made operational shortly. The bank’s team is actively working to ensure that all ATMs are replenished at the earliest so that the public does not face further inconvenience.
Members of the public are advised not to panic, as steps are being taken to restore normal cash availability across the region.
