Tura, July 13, 2025: General Body meeting of Meghalaya Taekwondo Association for the preparation of 39th National Games-2027 was held on 12 July at 11 am at Ringregittim, Tura.

The Meeting was
attended by Executive Members from West Garo Hills, East Garo Hills, North Garo Hills, West Jaintia Hills & East Khasi Hills. All selection criteria pertaining to age/weight categories have been discussed and the numbers of athletes to be selected as per the weight categories at the district and state level also have been discussed.

Training cum Selection Trial have started in some of the district and shall be completed within 3 months i.e July to September 2025 in respect of Taekwondo discipline throughout the State.
