Williamnagar, Jan 6,2025: East Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner of Election, Vibhor Aggarwal, handed over the final publication of electoral rolls with 1 January, 2025, as the qualifying date, for three assembly segments, namely, 41-Songsak, 42-Rongjeng and 43-Williamnagar to the representatives of political parties like the NPP, AITC, INC, etc. in the presence of ADCs, EACs and the BDOs of the district at the office chamber of the Deputy Commissioner on 6 January, 2025.

Handing over the electoral rolls, the Deputy Commissioner and the ADC in-charge of elections, DA Sangma, highlighted the procedures for preparing the final publication of electoral rolls and their importance.
