Tura, Dec 22, 2024:The 3-Day & Night Volleyball Tournament 2024, organized by Re·mikkang Youth Club (RYC) was held at Dobasipara Higher Secondary School Playground, Tura from December 19-21, 2024 concluded on Saturday night.
The tournament was sponsored by the Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, government of Meghalaya and supported by West Garo Hills District Administration, Tura.
In this tournament 30 teams were participated from various parts of Garo Hills region and after three days of competition, Mustang Boys Ampati from South West Garo Hills emerged as the champion and defeated, Kharkutta Team from North Garo Hills in the final match.
The Winner is Mustang Boys Ampati received a Cash Prize Rs.50,000/- and Runner-up, Kharkutta Team received Cash Prize Rs. 30,000/-.
The Best Player awarded to Zahidur Sk for his outstanding performance throughout the tournament.
The organizing committee extends its heartfelt congratulations to the winner and runner-up teams. “We also appreciate the participation of all teams and the support of the spectators” said Salrakh G.Sangma President of Re·mikkang Youth Club.
