DPSA submits a memorandum to Health Minister regarding the three major issues of Dadenggre
Dadenggre, Mar 23, 2025: The Dadenggre Progressive Students’ Association (DPSA) submitted a memorandum to Dr. Mazel Ampareen Lyngdoh, Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Information & Public Relations and Agriculture, Government of Meghalaya, highlighting the issues affecting the Community Health Centre (CHC), Sub Divisional Information & Public Relations Office and Agriculture Office in Dadenggre.
The three major issues of DPSA are Community Health Centre (CHC), in Dadenggre, shortage of staff and non-medical staff. The urgent need for Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance. Renovation of medical staff quaters needed for staff accommodation.
Approach road to CHC is required immediate repair. Second demand is Sub-Divisional Information & Public Relations Office, is
urgent required for permanent office building in Dadenggre. Appointment of full-time Sub-Divisional Information & Public Relations Officer is also required and additional staff are urgently needed. And also allocation of dedicated vehicle is essential.
Third demand is Agriculture Office, urgent renovation is needed to ensure in a safe working environment. Staff quarters is required urgent repair and renovation. A well-maintained approach road is necessary for Agriculture Office, in Dadenggre, said DPSA.
DPSA urged Dr. Ampareen Lyngdoh to take immediate steps to address these issues, ensuring improved healthcare services, information dissemination and agricultural services in Dadenggre.
