Williamnagar, Oct 30, 2024: As part of “Diwali with my Bharat” the Nehru Yuva Kendra, Williamnagar, with its Deputy Director, Linda BK Sangma, observed a Vigilance Awareness Week from 27 to 30 October, with the help of Williamnagar Traders Association, Youth Clubs of Williamnagar, Central Puja Committee, Williamnagar, during which the cleaning drive at Williamnagar Main market was organised.

The observation of the week culminated with a meeting at Williamnagar Main market with the traders association, youth clubs, Williamnagar Municipal Board and other stake holders on 30 October where the Chief Executive Officer of Williamnagar Municipal Board, Ripamchi N Sangma, was the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, the CEO, highlighted the need to maintain cleanliness during the Diwali and other celebrations in the district and urged the general public to cooperate with the district administration and Williamnagar Municipal Board in maintaining cleanliness in Williamnagar town.
