Tura, Mar 24, 2025: The President and Secretary of Constitutional Rights Forum (CRF), Tikrikilla Regional Unit, today submitted an application to Shri Burno A.Sangma SP of Fire & Emergency Service, Tura pressing for urgent rescue a new fire vehicle and equipment in Tikrikilla. The current vehicle is in a deplorable state, hindering our ability to respond promptly and effectively to emergencies.

CRF mentioned that the old vehicle’s poor condition poses a significant risk to the safety of our personnel and the communities. It is imperative that CRF acquire a reliable and well-equipped fire vehicle to ensure rescue operations are carried out efficiently, said President of CRF Tikrikilla Regional Unit.

In addition to a new fire vehicle, “We also require modern rescue equipment to tackle various emergency situations. This includes tools for vehicle extrication, firefighting, and medical emergencies. Having such equipment would enhance our response capabilities and ultimately save lives” added CRF.

Further, CRF urged to consider and take necessary steps to provide Tikrikilla with a new fire vehicle and required to rescue equipment.
